The present Country Profile is based on the report commissioned by Med Culture in 2014, and authored by Rola Kobeissi. The data published under this country profile reflect the independent views of the author.

Bio:

She has been working for nearly 20 years in the Cultural Management and held a number of cultural and artistic projects. She is a graduate of the Lebanese American University with a BA in Communication Arts, with emphasis on Radio/TV/Film. Rola pursued her studies in Film Production and got a Master degree in Strategy and Cultural Development from the University of Avignon (France). Rola worked at some of the main cultural institutions of the country: Agenda Culturel, Beirut Theatre, The British Council, Zico House and Beirut DC.
