AMA offers travel funds to artists, arts professionals and cultural operators in the fields of performing and visual arts, music, cinema, literature, and cultural advocacy who live and work in Africa, to travel within the African continent in order to engage in the exchange of information, the enhancement of skills, the development of informal networks, and the pursuit of cooperation. Mobility grants include the costs of travel, visa and travel insurance for the duration of stay. AMA doesn’t support fees, accommodations, or per-diem

Eligible projects are those aiming to establish partnerships, to participate in festivals, biennials, artist residencies, productions, touring, workshops and professional development meetings.

AMA doesn’t support travel within the same African country or travels outside Africa.
